DTF Printing Machine
A heat transfer machine, also known as a heat press, is a machine that imprints a design onto an item through the use of heat and pressure. Often the design is printed onto a paper or a synthetic carrier, the transfer is then applied to the desired item, most commonly textile products that are going to be in direct contact with the skin, such as underwear, swimwear, sportswear & ‘T’ Shirts.
Heat transfers are designed to last the lifetime of a product and this longevity is often vital when it comes to clothing; if the transfer isn’t a focal point of the garment then it is likely to contain important information such as brand, size, washing instructions, fabric content and other product details.
The image is printed onto a paper or Synthetic carrier and then the transfer is applied to the product by Heat & pressure is designed to last the life of the product. These transfers must comply with International safety & washing standards.
Here at Focus Label we manufacture two heat transfer machines: the LX machine and the TagTrans machine.
LX Machine: This is the most advanced machine for cost-effective production of heat transfers and has a fantastic selection of features.
TagTrans Machine: This machine provides a very cost-effective investment and practical method of production of these transfers; it also has many great features.
Offset Printing
Offset printing is a commonly used printing technique in which the inked image is transferred (or “offset”) from a plate to a rubber blanket, then to the printing surface. When used in combination with the lithographic process, which is based on the repulsion of oil and water, the offset technique employs a flat (planographic) image carrier. Ink rollers transfer ink to the image areas of the image carrier, while a water roller applies a water-based film to the non-image areas. The modern “web” process feeds a large reel of paper through a large press machine in several parts, typically for several metres, which then prints continuously as the paper is fed through. Development of the offset press came in two versions: in 1875 by Robert Barclay of England for printing on tin, and in 1904 by Ira Washington Rubel of the United States for printing on paper.
